Where are you located?

  • We are located in South Kansas City, right on the MO/KS State Line. As of now, we service a 10 mile radius from the 64145 area code, but will be expanding soon!

Do you charge additional fees for holidays or weekends?

  • There are no added charges for weekends, however, certain holidays require additional fees. See our Policy page for details.

Will I get to meet my provider before they begin service?

  • Yes, and of our initial meet-and-greets are free! To ensure familiarity between a Paws ‘n Motion provider and your pet(s), these meet-and-greets are required before we can begin caring for them.

How much notice is required for booking an appointment?

  • Paws ‘n Motion requires a 24-hour notice, though reservations do fill quickly, so we cannot guarantee that short-notice appointments can be met. In the event that we are able to accommodate a last minute appointment, an additional fee may be required. See our Policy page for details.

How do I sign up for dog walking or pet sitting services?

  • You can contact us through the form on our website, via email at [email protected] or by phone: (816) 216-9306 anytime between 8am-8pm any day of the week.

Will I have the same walker and time of service for each appointment?

  • We prefer to maintain continuity of provider and appointment time for your pets and will do everything possible to maintain both for repeat appointments. If your initial provider is not available, with your permission, we’ll match you with an alternate provider. Additionally, we ask that you choose a two-hour window when scheduling appointments to ensure the flexibility of your provider.

Where do you walk my dog(s)?

  • We walk each client’s dog(s) in their own neighborhood. Additionally, we do not combine appointments and walk the dogs of multiple clients at the same time. We dedicate our time and attention only on your dog(s) during your appointment.

Are you insured?

  • Yes! Paws ‘n Motion is insured for your piece of mind.

When do I give a key to my provider?

  • You may give your key to them after the initial meet-and-greet and you have decided to hire Paws ‘n Motion. Our preference is that your key be kept in a secure lockbox on your doorknob accessible only through a combination lock, which Paws ‘n motion can provide for a small fee. We also accept garage door entry codes.

What is your cancellation policy for regular daily dog walking or ‘as needed’ dog walking services?

  • We have a 24-hour cancellation policy. Services canceled less than the 24-hour period will not be refunded or credited. Services cancelled more than the 24-hour period will be credited to your account.

How is payment handled?

  • Paws ‘n Motion Services requires that all payments be made at the time of our appointment. We accept check, cash or credit card.

Is the information I give to Paws ‘n Motion and my provider confidential?

  • Yes, any information given to Paws ‘n Motion is strictly confidential, and will not be disclosed or provided to any third party.
