How do I sign up for dog walking or pet sitting services?
Where are you located?
We are located in South Kansas City by Leawood South, and service a 10 mile radius from the 64145 area code
Do you charge additional fees for holidays or weekends?
Paws ‘n Motion does not charge for additional for weekends, but we do charge a fee for some holidays. Please see our Policy page.
Will I get to meet my pet sitter before walks/sits start?
Yes, all of our visits include a FREE Meet-N-Greet, and that is where you will meet your pet sitter.
How much advanced notice must I give before making my reservation?
Paws ‘n Motion requires a 24 hour notice, but reservations fill up quickly so the sooner the better
Will I get to meet my dog walker before the walks/sits start?
We require that you meet your dog walker before they start. This way they can become familiar to you and your pet(s).
Will I have the same walker each day?
We prefer to keep the continuity of the same sitter with the same pets and we will do everything possible to make that happen for additional pet sitting requests. If your initial sitter is not available, with your permission, we will match you with an alternate sitter
Will my dog walker come at the same time each day?
We try to be there around the same time each day, but it is not always possible. We ask you to choose a two hour window during which your walker will be there
Where do you walk my dog(s)?
We walk each client’s dog(s) in your own neighborhood. We do not gather dogs from different clients and walk them at the same time. We believe our time and attention should be focused solely on your dog(s).
Are you insured?
Yes, Paws ‘n Motion is insured for your piece of mind.
When do I give a key to my dog walker?
You give your key to them once the decision has been made to hire Paws ‘n Motion. If a key is not given then a garage code must be.
What is the best way to reach Paws 'n Motion KC Pet Care Services?
Paws ‘n Motion is open from 8 am to 8 pm everyday so just call or email us.
What is your cancellation policy for regular daily dog walking or ‘as needed’ dog walking services?
We have a 24 hour cancellation policy. Services canceled less than the 24 hour period will not be refunded or credited. Services cancelled more than 24 hours will be credited to your account.
How is payment handled?
Paws ‘n Motion Services requires that all payments must be due at the time services are rendered. We accept check, cash or credit card.
Is the information I give to my sitter confidential?
Yes, any information given to Paws ‘n Motion is strictly confidential, and will not be disclosed by anyone. Your personal information including your mailing address, phone numbers, and email address is kept on file at our office.
Will you take care of my pet(s) without meeting us first?
No, we require you to have a Meet-N-Greet with you and your pet(s) before we can provide you with our services. This is a must, and there are no exceptions.
What kind of notice do you need for our pet sitting and overnight reservations?
Paws ‘n Motion requires a minimum 24 hour timeframe for dog walking and pet sitting visits. We ask that you please call us as soon as possible to insure your visits.
Matt is wonderful! His prices are reasonable, and he's very trustworthy and kind. My dog looks forward to her outings with him. He is able to help out on a whim, when needed. Would recommend him to anyone in the South KC and Leawood area!
