Who am I?

When people ask me what I do for a living, I tell them: “I am a pet sitting business owner.

But what I really want to say is: “I love my family, I love my faith, I like to go fishing, golfing, reading, listening to podcasts and taking pictures of the pets I take care for.

And what I really, really want to say is: “I help pet parents and their pets by providing exercise, socialization, safety and love when they cannot. I love that my business is ever growing so I can help more people. I guess that you can say that I am like their second parent.

Matt Frazier

As you’ve probably guessed, I am the pack leader/owner of this AWESOME business! To me, it is the best job in the world! I get to have fun, be around pets, and get daily exercise. I am introverted, but I really love people and animals. I think that this is a MUST when running any business to be successful.

  • I’ve have many years of experience providing and caring for many different types of animals, not just dogs and cats. Hint…the scaly kind.
  • I am CPR and First Aid certified by PetTech, so I know what to do in case of an emergency.
  • Although my business is still young, I’ve worked with hundreds of animals helping and caring for them while their parents are gone.
  • My clients regularly give me a 5 star ratings across all social media, and my website. It is nice to know that you are doing a good job. That being said, I am always learning how to better myself, my business, and my team.

If you’ve just GOT to know more about me, read on.

  • I am a two-time brain tumor survivor. Don’t worry, I am fine…25 years of being tumor free!
  • I LOVE being a dad to a 3 year old, and lucky to have an AWESOME wife!
  • In 2008 in St. Louis, where I lived at the time, I tackled a man outside of my previous work when he attempted to steal my friends purse. Needless to say that did not work out very good for him.
  • I don’t know how to ride a bike very well due to my equilibrium. Thanks brain tumors!
  • I get dizzy looking up at the sky for too long. Again, thanks brain tumors!
  • I love Starbucks
  • I love to exercise
  • I worked at Wayside Waifs, KC Pet Project (briefly), and Treats Unleashed before taking the” leap of faith”and starting my own business.
  • I am very introverted around groups. I honestly do not know why, I was never like that growing up. I blame it on the tumors! 🙂 By the way I am working hard to get better at that. Being around clients daily, and believe it or not, listening to podcasts has helped me.
  • I spent 4 months in 2013 working for Wayside Waifs, ASPCA in 2013 on a federal (FBI) dog fighting case, where almost 100 animals were involved. Everyday we would care for these dogs so that they could be rehabilitated to go to shelters throughout the US. Needless to say that was amazing!

  • I was worried about my dear pets and opening my home to someone I did not know. Matt alleviated my concerns. He was prompt, trustworthy and I could tell he really liked animals. He would text me about any concerns and I knew my pets and my home were in very good hands. What a relief for me when I can't get home!
