Paws 'n Motion - Matt

Matthew Frazier, Founder

Our founder, Matt Frazier, started Paws ‘n Motion in 2014 to help pets and their owners in the southern area of the Kansas City metro. He loved his business, his clients and, most of all, the dogs and cats that he and his company cared for. A loving, compassionate relationship with animals was a passion of Matt’s and he embodied that personal connection with each pet under his care. Matt’s legacy lives on with Paws ‘n Motion and he serves as a daily inspiration for our philosophy and mission.

Matt passed away in early 2018 after a long, courageous fight with brain tumors. We at Paws ‘n Motion could think of no better tribute to him than to continue the business that he loved and worked so hard to build from the ground up.

Matt, in his own words…

I help pet owners and their pets by providing exercise, socialization, safety and love when they cannot. I treat their pets as if they were my own and strive to earn and keep the trust that my clients place in my hands.

I like to think that I’m uniquely talented at what I do and stand behind the work of Paws ‘n Motion with a 100% satisfaction guarantee!

Beyond my business, I have volunteered at Wayside Waifs and KC Pet Project. At Wayside Waifs, I spent four months working alongside the ASPCA and the FBI to rescue over 100 dogs that had been involved in a massive dog-fighting ring. Our efforts transitioned over 90% of them to homes after successfully training them to love and accept love in return. It was one of the most amazing experiences of my life.

I love my family and my faith. I love to spend my free time fishing, golfing, reading and following all of my favorite teams. Most of all, I love being a dad to my wonderful son, Drake, and my beautiful wife, Adrienne. 🙂

  • I was worried about my dear pets and opening my home to someone I did not know. Matt alleviated my concerns. He was prompt, trustworthy and I could tell he really liked animals. He would text me about any concerns and I knew my pets and my home were in very good hands. What a relief for me when I can't get home!
